New – Nonslip aisle runners are back in white only AND we’re now offering Brushed Satin fabric aisle runners!!
With so many options to choose from, it’s easy to see why you might feel overwhelmed when making the decision to purchase a custom aisle runner from Customized Wedding Creations. It’s time we made it simple for you!
When choosing to have an aisle runner custom-made, it’s important to realize that very few companies out there actually produce quality custom-made aisle runners. I can probably count on one hand the companies that I know who make an aisle runner worth anything. It’s all too easy to get suckered into the “it’s cheaper” thought process. But, the old adage is true, you get what you pay for. At Customized Wedding Creations, we hand-paint every one of our products and we use only the finest materials. Nothing is machine processed. With that, it’s expected that you’re going to have to pay a little more for a true quality product.
So, you’ve decided Customized Wedding Creations is the company for you, but you still don’t know how to proceed with your custom aisle runner purchase. The first thing you need to ask yourself, even before how much are you willing to spend, is what type of quality is needed. If you’re walking down a concrete or carpeted aisle, then you really could choose any of our products. But, if you’re walking down a marble floor, a fabric aisle runner with nonslip backing added is your best bet. Here’s the low down on each of our aisle runner types -
Budget Aisle Runners
Our budget aisle runners are made from a spun-bonded material, meaning they are not traditionally sewn fabric like you are probably used to. While these runners are not similar to a dryer sheet (like a lot of the aisle runners on the net), they are not the same quality as our fabric aisle runners. Budget aisle runners are fused together so you will literally see tiny holes (and I mean tiny) throughout the length of the runner, where the “threads” are fused together. This aisle runner is ideal for many aisles because it is both wrinkle-free and puncture-resistant. This means that under normal circumstances, heels likely will not poke through the material. Budget aisle runners are available in white and ivory fabric. Please be warned, the ivory fabric is a darker ivory, almost tan.
Polyester Fabric Aisle Runners
Polyester fabric aisle runners are literally made from polyester poplin fabric and come in an array of colors (65 to be exact). These quality aisle runners have surged edges (so no fraying) and are one long piece of material (no seams). Polyester fabric aisle runners are made from material that is similar to what you would find used for restaurant linens. They are quality material and will not puncture under normal wear and tear. For obvious reasons, polyester fabric aisle runners are our number one seller.
Brushed Satin Fabric Aisle Runners

In the mean time, view our color chart or email us to request swatches.
A notch above our Polyester fabric aisle runners, our Brushed Satin fabric aisle runners are made from a polyester matte satin fabric. This fabric has a smooth satin feel, without the shiny coating. The fabric is soft to the touch and is available in 22 colors. Just like our Polyester fabric aisle runners, the Brushed Satin fabric aisle runners have surged edges and are one long piece of fabric with no seams that will not puncture under normal wear and tear. If you’re looking for a slightly higher quality fabric than our Polyester fabric aisle runners, these aisle runners are for you.
Nonslip Aisle Runners
We’ve been back and fourth with the addition of nonslip aisle runners to our collection, but for now, they’re back. I’m hoping they’ll stick around, but if you’ve followed us through the past year and a half, you’ve known that we’ve offered them and then stopped due to distributor issues. They are back now, but are available in white only.
Nonslip aisle runners are the best runners on the market. Made from a cotton fabric with foam adhered to the underside, these aisle runners will not move when walked upon. They’re lightweight too, meaning they’re easy to roll down the aisle.
No matter which aisle runner material you choose, you can expect your aisle runner to be pressed and rolled onto a tube for easy use. They also include either a rope (budget aisle runners) or satin ribbon (fabric) pull cord.
Now that it’s all laid out for you, I’m sure you’re thinking…well, this is an easy decision!
Be on the look out for a future blog post to help differentiate the aisle runner collections too!

hello what fabric can i order to add on glitter . please let me know that you .
Ericka – you can order any of our aisle runners and have glitter added on.
My dress is eggshell. Does it matter what color the aisle runner is (white or ivory)?
To be honest, it really doesn’t make that much of a difference. When you’re walking down the aisle, people will not be comparing the shade of your aisle runner to the shade of your dress…they’ll be looking at you!
I made a logo that I would like on my aisle runner. Would you be able to use it as the monogoram?
Yes, definitely! You would just need to email it to us in order for us to determine pricing.
The 20th renewal of wedding vowels wll take place 7/17/10. The colors are fushia, silver and bling(crystals) Do you send samples of the fabric. Is the pricing listed on the site, if not can you give me a range?
Gloria

my wedding is november 20th, 2010….is it too late to order a custom runner?
Ashley – no it’s not too late – just place your order right on the website.
Which aisle runner do you recommend for outside (on grass)?
Omima, any of our aisle runners can be used on grass as they are durable, unlike a lot of the lace-type aisle runners available on the market.
hi can you let me know which email i can send to you for our Personalized Runner image? Also do you mail to singapore?
@ Evelyn – Yes, we do ship to Singapore. Shipping costs would be higher than our standard rates, but I cannot tell you how much without knowing your exact order, including length of the aisle runner. Additionally, we do not pay customs fees. So, you would be responsible for that as well. You can email the image right to me via this email address. However, please keep in mind that we will be closed from today through Saturday (8/24/10 – 8/28/10) for vacation. Thank you.

Nikki – Yes, you can! That’s considered an “Enhancement”. To order that particular enhancement which is ribbon border, just click on the Enhancement tab and then Ribbon Border to see pricing. Thanks!
