Real Wedding: Lisa & Bobby

When Lisa sent me pictures of her aisle runner, I asked her to come up with something for me to write about her wedding on the blog.  Lisa went above and beyond with her response that I’m happy to share with you today…

It’s hard to believe that just a year ago I was putting a wedding plan into motion. My wedding day September 19^th was absolute beautiful!  It all happened so fast.  I look at my wedding pictures daily hopelessly trying to make that days event longer.  I received so many complements on the décor that was in the church from those who saw my personalized runner, and from those who can’t believe they missed it and are seeing it for the first time in the online.  Thank you Cherin for all of your patience, I was so nervous when placing my order. For every question I presented, your answers were always the same “Not a problem”   Looking at the pictures, it’s like we rehearsed, each step so that the foot would land just before the wording of the quote. You did a beautiful job!!   My florist (Stacy @ Stratton Hall of Jekyll Island) did a wonderful job in the church and the reception.  I wanted a WOW factor! He gave me that and more.  Stacy’s catering company also did my wedding cake which gorgeous! Although Bobby and I didn’t get any cake other than what we cut for pictures, I’m glad everyone else enjoyed it.  Wedding planning is a lot of work but there is so much joy in the end.  We are very thankful for all the love and support expressed to us from our family and friends.  We are especially very thankful for our bridal party who without a second thought step in during the final hours and made sure our days event took place as planned.  We honeymooned in Jamaica; I wanted to stay another week.  We stayed at the Grand Bahia Principe, beautiful resort!
