When Rita came to me last month with a special request for her daughter’s wedding in May, I was super excited to get the order. This was no ordinary aisle runner and it had absolutely no paint on it. Rita ordered an aqua (special color order – yes, it’s possible, just ask!) nonslip aisle runner, but she wanted something unique – Swarovski crystal feather plumes to adorn the border of the runner. These are not your ordinary feather plumes either – they are a foot long! What a challenge, but we were definitely up for it! When the final design came together, this aisle runner wound up being our biggest order ever, by far. It contained just about 80 feather plumes made from genuine Swarovski crystals. Each plume had over 1500 crystals in it, meaning the total amount of crystals on the aisle runner exceeds over 121,000 crystals. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a nervous wreck working on this runner, but I (along with Rita) absolutely love how it turned out. So, this just goes to show you, if you have something in mind, ask us. We will bring it to life!
