I can’t tell you how often I’m asked what to do with the aisle runner/table runner/banner after the wedding. Since you probably wound up spending a pretty penny, it’s not worthwhile to just throw it away (even though I bet your photographer got a lot of great shots!). Well, here’s what I did after my wedding (ok, lets get real – it’s now June and the wedding was in October…but whatever, it’s finally taken care of!):
Above is the table runner we used and below is the cut out version. Since I was so used to the ribbon border, I felt like just having the runner framed wasn’t enough. So, I took a thank you card and a program and inserted them as well. I’m really happy with the way it turned out and it will be a great keepsake for years to come…once we paint our living room and I can actually hang it up!
